A Unique Development Opportunity
In the spring of 2003, OASIS signed an agreement with Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) to develop Aqaba Lagoon Tourism Site (ALTS), a unique development on the northern shores of Aqaba.
Once completed, ALTS will feature a range of facilities and amenities, including a variety of up-market hotels, unique residential communities, a golf course and a town center encompassing a marina, retail units, cafes, entertainment and recreational facilities, built around a man made lagoon. The total area of the ALTS site is approximately 430 hectares (1.060 acres) with a 250 meters (820 feet) sea frontage on the Gulf of Aqaba.
The community created will be a memorable place for Jordanians and international tourists to relax, vacation, attend meetings and conduct business. The residential areas development in this new part of Aqaba should become among the most desirable places to live and/or own residential property in the area because of the location, planning and amenities.
