The Challenge
The company was established in 1995, to manufacture generic high quality pharmaceuticals for the local market at a reasonable cost, challenging the predominance of imported medication in the Kingdom. Soon after establishment, the company pioneered the local manufacture of certain generics, and became the sole Saudi manufacturer of cephalosporin products and injectibles, the future trend in antibiotic treatment.
The company is controlled by the Saudi Ministry of Health and adheres to the United Kngdom’s rules of Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), and Current Good Laboratory Practice (CGLP), as well as the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) regulations.
