Producer of Integrated Pest Management Vegetables
The South Agricultural Company was established in 1986, and comprises of a number of farms that produce fruit and vegetables, as well as fully integrated cold storage facilities. The company aims at restoring agricultural lands, growing, producing and marketing agricultural produce.
The company’s farms are located in Al-Shobak, 180 kilometers south of Amman, Jordan. The farms, spread over 200 Hectares, with an elevation of 1,280 meters above sea level, produce the finest apples that are grown regionally (Gala, Royal Gala, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and more), high quality stone fruits, as well as several other kinds of vegetables. Most of the Fram’s vegetables production is Integrated Pest Management certified (IPM), with minimum use of pesticides. crops are subject to the supervision of the National Center for Agricultural Research (The Comprehensive Project)
The company has cold storage facility consisting of 14 refrigerated rooms, built in accordance with the highest universal specifications. The rooms have a storage capacity of 5,000-8,000 tons.
