RUM was established in the year 1986, in the midst of the Wadi Rum desert,
south of Jordan on 2,000 Hectares of land. The company specializes in the
cultivation of open field vegetable products, grains and forage, grapes and
stone fruits. The company applies efficient methods of utilizing groundwater
for irrigation.
With its R&D center, experimental plots and rigid quality control systems, RUM
managed to maintain the high quality of its products and produce commercial
quantities to supply both local and export markets.
RUM has proved to be the model of modern agriculture companies through
the use of the latest agricultural techniques, land utilization, product
varieties, professional and motivated employees, state of the art equipment and
technologies.
